If I have been invited to apply for a grant, when will the decision be made?
Staff reviews proposals in October and April. The Board meets to review staff recommendations in November and May. Decision notifications with award amounts are mailed shortly thereafter, and checks are mailed in mid-December and mid-June. Learn more
I received a grant from Silver Giving last year. Can I apply again? For how many years in a row can I apply?
We engage in long-term partnerships with grantees and do not proscribe funding lifespans. In short, we will continue to invite annual grant proposals so long as our grantees continue to meet their objectives, align with our theory of change, and engage in an open, collaborative relationship with our staff.
Does Silver Giving award grants or scholarships to individuals?
No.
